Several issues made gains on COATS this week. Wye Resources traded almost 100,000 share to close at a high of 80 cents . A new president has been appointed to run the company. Also, encouraging results have been received from the company’s Saganaga Lake property in Ontario. Surface grab samples returned several higher grading values in gold.
Transgold was active, moving up a dime to 65 cents on volume of 90,000 shares. The company controls a large tract of land in the Wawa, Ont., area. Rebounding platinum prices are helping Platinum Lake which plans to recover platinum from used automobile catalytic devices. The issue was better at $2.30.
