I am a subscriber to The Northern Miner as I have actively traded mining shares and gold-mining mutual funds for several years.
I hope your issue dated March 7 represents a new direction for your fine publication. Specifically, I refer to the appearance of the following:
* Martin Murenbeeld on Page B6,
* history of Cullaton Lake on Page 1,
* clean alphabetical separation of stock exchange tables,
* reporting with greater depth in areas such as Carlin on Page A21 and Ok Tedi on Page B12,
* British Columbia’s gold output on Page B15.
Your mineral resources newspaper is broadening the coverage to include material found in private mining advisory services. I hope this trend will be continued. David Halevy Cambridge, Mass.
