First gold bar for Bond Int’s

The first gold bar has been poured from the Golden Patricia gold mine owned by Bond Gold Canada, a wholly-owned affiliate of Bond International Gold (NYSE).

Located west of Pickle Lake, Ont., the mine is expected to produce 48,000 oz of gold per year from a 250-tonne-per-day operation. The first bar yielded 500 oz of gold and represents Bond International’s first production from Canada.

Also, a new reserve calculation completed by Watts, Griffis and McOuat, a consulting engineering company, has increased reserves to 367,650 tonnes grading 20.47 g gold per tonne (0.596 oz gold per ton).
