Saskatchewan Gold Discovery

A new gold discovery was made in the La Ronge area of Saskatchewan, according to Goldsil Resources (TSE) and Golden Rule Resources (TSE), operator and 53.45% owner of the Kaslo project. Two widely spaced drill holes (about 320 ft apart) intersected 37.7 ft grading 0.23 oz gold per ton and 32.8 ft of 0.24 oz from a wide zone of gold mineralization. The holes were designed to intersect a surface showing adjacent to the Byers Fault zone.

Goldsil (30.05%) says the mineralized intersections consist of a wide zone of quartz veining within a broad zone of strongly sheared, pyritized and silicified andesites. Other widely spaced holes in this area of the 1,380-acre property intercepted broad zones of gold enrichment but were sub-economic. SMDC holds a 16.50% interest in the project which is located about 3 km to the west of the more advanced Tower East project also b eing explored by the joint venture partners.
