Delbridge drilling delayed

The stripping of an area located 2,000 ft southwest of the DeSantis shaft, by Delbridge Mines, has exposed several quartz veins carrying massive sulphides. The DeSan tis property is located near Timmins, Ont.

A drill program, designed to follow up the surface program, has been delayed. Delbridge says a swamp, over which heavy equipment must pass, has not frozen completely.

Drilling completed last year intersected multiple quartz stringers in four quartz veins which assayed up to 0.07 oz gold per ton across 5 ft. In the shaft area drilling has also yielded encouraging results, Delbridge says. Assays up to 0.61 oz were received. However, the company fails to provide corresponding core widths.
