A geophysical survey has been completed by Golden Tanager Resources (COATS) on the company’s two properties near Pickle Lake, Ont. On the North Caribou property, located 166 km north of Pickle Lake, the program has outlined several conductive zones which are believed to be caused by sulphide mineralization. Gold mineralization on an adjacent property is associated with sulphide mineralization.
Favorable geophysical responses have also been received from the Magpy property west of Pickle Lake. Located 18 km southwest of the Golden Patricia gold deposit being readied for production by Bond Gold Canada, the Tanager property protects a sulphide unit known to be gold-bearing, the company says. A follow-up surface exploration program is expected to begin shortly. This will include mapping, sampling and geochemical surveying.
