NEWS ROUNDUP — Darnley Bay performs surface work

Based on favorable results from a 1997 aeromagnetic survey, Darnley Bay Resources (DBL-V) has started a ground exploration program aimed at establishing targets for a summer drill program at the Darnley Bay project near Paulatuk, N.W.T.

With the financial and technical help of Falconbridge (FL-T), Darnley Bay is exploring for deposits containing nickel, copper and platinum group elements. The current program will include a gravity survey and a pulse-electromagnetic survey over previously identified anomalies. At least 5,000 metres of drilling will follow.
