Alberta-listed Columbia Yukon Resources has identified a new zone of mineralization on its Alliger Lake claims in Labrador.
The structure is intermittently exposed over 800 metres of strike length in layered troctolites. Sulphide layers measure 1-2 metres wide and contain chalcopyrite, pyrrhotite and pyrite.
The westerly extension of the new zone is buried under coarse talus. Follow-up exploration work is continuing, and drill permits have been applied for.
Silverstone Resources (VSE) can earn a half interest in the property.
