The addition of two new exploration licences in Uganda increases Pacific Vangold Mines’ (VSE) holdings in that country to more than 9,600 sq. km.
The newly acquired ground stretches along Uganda’s southern border with Tanzania, from Lake Victoria to Rwanda.
Pacific Vangold positioned its holdings to cover the possible northern extension of a known nickel-cobalt belt running through northwestern Tanzania. The company has already identified a geophysical anomaly with coincident nickel-cobalt soil values, and will next attempt to identify drill targets.
