OBITUARY David Miller

David Miller, professional engineer, died recently in an accident in the Yukon while working on the Mel prospect for Barytex Resources. He was 55. Miller held a degree in geological engineering from the Univer0600,0000 sity of British Columbia. He had worked for Eldorado in northern Saskatchewan’s Beaverlodge uranium camp and in various mines in British Columbia, including Britannia, the Bluebell, Coast Copper and Bethlehem Copper.

In 1977, Miller joined St. Joseph Exploration, then Sulpetro, and conducted exploration programs throughout the Cordillera, the mountain system along North America’s West Coast. In 1984, he established a consulting practice in Kamloops, B.C.

He was a member of the Canadian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy.
