A 3,000-ft. underground drilling program is under way at the Langmuir No. 1 property of Timmins Nickel (TSE) in the Timmins, Ont., area. The drilling is designed, the company says, to follow up previous drilling by Noranda (TSE) which outlined a minable reserve of 187,475 tons grading 1.8% nickel. The deposit is open down-rake to the north.
The company recently completed dewatering of the ramp which is within 250 ft. of the ore zone.
