A drill rig is set to begin testing of the Tip Top showing at the GNC property in northwestern British Columbia, Prime Resources Group (VSE) reports. The GNC property, which lies adjacent to and, for the most part, surrounds the exciting Eskay Creek property of Prime and Stikine Resources (TSE), is jointly owned by the two companies and Canarc Resource (VSE).
Surface sampling from the showing has returned assays of up to 0.22 oz. gold and 10.41 oz. silver per ton, and 24.8% copper.
Currently planned is the drilling of about 3,300 ft. The companies report sulphide mineralization and alteration associated with this showing have been traced on surface for about 3,300 ft. and up to 33-ft. widths.
