Limited drilling is planned for a pair of Lithos (ME) properties in the Joutel base metal camp of northwestern Quebec.
Aur Resources (TSE) has budgeted $150,000 for two holes on the Charbon property and one hole on the Charlim property.
At Charbon, the holes will probe two broad zones of anomalous, induced-polarization response found within, or on the edge of, a southeast-striking corridor of hydrothermal alteration. The objective is to find stacked lenses of copper-zinc sulphide mineralization along the corridor. The drilling will be performed about 500 metres southeast of the Charbon showing. Previous near-surface drilling returned disseminated to semi-massive pyrite mineralization with several anomalous base metal intersections. At Charlim, the hole will be drilled in the northern portion of the property, the objective being to test a base metal prospective rhyolite-andesite contact inferred in this sector.
