MINING IN MEXICO — PROJECT ROUNDUP — Cambior in option

Option agreements may earn Cambior (TSE) a 50% interest in a pair of Mexican projects, the Metates gold property in Durango state and the Suaqui Verde copper oxide property in Sonora state.

The Metates deal is with Corporacion Industrial San Luis. Cambior plans 13,000 ft. of drilling this year, as well as sampling. The Suaqui Verde agreement is with Arizona Copper Co.; about 7,000 ft. of drilling is planned there for this year.

Cambior also has a joint-venture agreement with Cameco (TSE) covering the exploration of gold and copper properties in Baja California and in Sonora and Chihuahua states.
