CopperQuest plans 4-hole program for Flin Flon project

CopperQuest (OTC), a junior based in Thunder Bay, Ontario, is planning a 1,200-ft., 4-hole program on the Bear Lake base metal property near Flin Flon, Man. CopperQuest will be testing four electromagnetic anomalies within an area of intense hydrothermal alteration. The targets lie in the same geological horizon as the former producing Cuprus and White Lake copper-zinc mines of Hudson Bay Mining and Smelting (TSE).

By spending $25,000 on the property, CopperQuest will have the option to acquire 25% of Bear Lake from Strider Resources in return for further expenditures of $225,00.

Elsewhere, CopperQuest has drilled one hole on its Shoal Lake gold-base metal property in north-western Ontario. In return for a payment of 200,000 shares, Mimiska Mining (ME) will have the option to earn a 50% stake in the property.
