Martin speaking at Toronto ’94

Federal Finance Minister Paul Martin will address a May 4 joint luncheon during the Toronto ’94 mining show.

The luncheon will be part of the Minerals Outlook Conference, a 1-day event sponsored by the Mineral Economics Society of the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum (CIM), the Mining Association of Canada and the federal Ministry of Natural Resources.

Toronto ’94, set for May 1-4 at the Metro Convention Centre, is the umbrella organization for four mining-related conventions and trade shows, including the CIM’s 94th annual meeting.

Session topics during Toronto ’94 will include Canadian and foreign investment opportunities, labor relations, marketing and current developments in mineral resource extraction technology.
