Total attributable gold production for Goldcorp (TSE) approached 100,000 oz. in 1993, compared with 92,798 oz. in the previous year.
Goldcorp is the major shareholder of Dickenson Mines (TSE) and Wharf Resources (TSE) and, as a result, has interests in the Red Lake mine in Ontario and the Wharf and Golden Reserve mines in South Dakota. Earnings rocketed 568%, while revenues jumped 12%. About $13.9 million or 80 cents a share was earned on revenues of $122 million, compared with $2.1 million or 12 cents a share on $109.2 million in 1992.
Cash flow was also higher: $30.6 million, compared with $16.7 million in 1992.
