After dropping an option on the “A” group of claims held by White Star Copper Mines (CDN), Falconbridge has decided to option the junior’s “C” claim group.
The properties are 1.5 miles northwest of the famed Texas Gulf-Kidd Creek orebody, near Timmmins, Ont.
White Star will receive an undisclosed payment for the option and retain a royalty interest in any production. An exploration program is being planned.
