Starcore to explore platinum project

By March of next year, Starcore Resources (VSE) plans to spend at least $475,000 on its recently optioned Goodnews Bay platinum property in western Alaska.

The company can earn a 70% interest from the vendors by spending $3 million on exploration by mid-September of 1996.

Work will include geochemical and geophysical programs focused on intrusive ultramafic complexes which are believed to be the source of alluvial platinum in the Salmon River. Targets will be drill-tested next year.
