For investment purposes, Goldcorp (TSE) recently exercised warrants to buy 1.1 million shares of Orvana Minerals (TSE) at 40 cents per share.
Goldcorp now holds 6.7 million Orvana shares. In addition, Goldtrust and Goldfund (which are affiliated mutual funds of Goldcorp) hold 211,400 and 167,600 Orvana shares, respectively.
