LAST BUT NOT LEAST…Loubel granted West African property

The government of the West African country of Burkina Faso (formerly Upper Volta) has granted Exploration Loubel (ME) mining rights to a 314-sq.-km area.

The property is underlain by a north-south-striking shear zone which hosts a gold-bearing quartz vein stockwork.

Two geochemical anomalies, Dossi-Centre and Dossi B, have been identified from 132 alluvium gravel samples.

A 300-metre hole, previously completed by the United Nations, intersected 11 grams per tonne over 3.5 metres.

In addition to the quartz vein stockwork, the Dossi B zone contains a gold-bearing gravel deposit. The government estimates a grade of 2 grams gold per cubic metre, indicating reserves of 93,048 oz. gold.

Loubel plans to start gravel-sampling and drilling in December.
