1993 A LOOK BACK — Chibougamau production for MSV

After acquiring the Copper Rand and Portage gold-copper mines near Chibougamau, Que., in late February, MSV Resources (ME) returned the properties to production.

MSV bought the mines and a 3,000-ton-per-day concentrator from Westminer Canada.

By the end of November, MSV had doubled reserves through an exploration program, excluding tonnage from its nearby Cedar Bay property which is undergoing exploration.
