Fairfield ships more gold ore

A second shipment of high-grade gold ore containing a minimum 6,560 oz. gold was made by Fairfield Minerals (TSE) to Noranda’s Horne smelter in Eastern Canada.

Fairfield has so far shipped a total of 2,030 tons containing about 8,650 oz. gold from its Siwash North gold deposit near Merritt, B.C. The company expected to receive more than $2.2 million for the two shipments. As planned, the junior will have working capital of about $4 million by mid-April. An aggressive work program is being planned for this year, and details will be available shortly along with an updated gold reserve for the Siwash North deposit.
