A drilling program is under way at the SAGAR-III gold-uranium property in the Labrador trough area of Quebec, Virginia Gold Mines (ME) reports.
Aim of the program is to confirm the presence of one or several mineralized zones beneath the boulder fields identified in 1992, the company says. Initially, 1,000-1,500 metres of drilling are planned. Additional drilling may follow during the spring and summer.
