Union Gold gets Alberta listing

Toronto-based Union Mining (CDN) has changed its name to Union Gold and is now listed on the Alberta Stock Exchange.

By optioning properties to third parties, the company intends to remain active in exploration.

Union Gold holds gold properties in Elliot and Harker Twps. in northeastern Ontario, uranium properties in Monteagle and Carlow Twps. in southeastern Ontario and a copper-gold prospect in Bourlamaque Twp., Que. Union has also acquired securities through exploration and property option fees paid to it over the years.

Shareholders exchanged all issued and outstanding shares of Union Mining (2.53 million as of March, 1992) on the basis of one Union Gold share for one Union Mining share.
