New reserves for Douay zone

Following winter drilling on its Douay property near Joutel, Que., Societe d’Exploration Miniere Vior (ME) has updated its reserves for Zone 531.

Using a cutoff of 0.09 oz. gold per ton, a firm of independent consultants (Geospec Sciences) estimates reserves of 690,796 tons at 0.2 oz., including 332,775 tons in the proven and possible categories.

Situated on the east side of Douay, Zone 531 is included in a carbonate-altered and albitized breach containing 2% to 5% pyrite. It remains open to the west.
