Bermuda-based Dundee International, a wholly owned subsidiary of Dundee Bancorp (TSE), has withdrawn its offer to purchase 100% of the outstanding shares of Knights Gold Mining. Knights is engaged in processing gold-bearing tailings in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Discussions with the South African Reserve Bank indicated that Dundee International’s offer would not be allowed to proceed under current control guidelines.
