Starmin, Adonos commence drilling

Drilling is under way at the Asia Pacific copper-gold property on the Philippine island of Negros, joint venture partners Starmin Mining (TSE) and Adonos Resources (TSE) report.

The program is aimed at confirming the oxide and sulphide copper grades of previous drilling, determining the gold-silver-molybde-

num grade, providing samples for metallurgical testing, and testing newly discovered soil samples.

The companies say that partial results of soil sampling work indicate the presence of a large anomalous zone one kilometre west of the main Asia Pacific deposit.
