A transaction whereby Societe d’Exploration Miniere Vior (ME) enhanced its property portfolio and Inco (TSE) increased its equity holding in the junior is complete, the companies said.
Vior acquired nine gold properties in Quebec from Inco, four of which were wholly owned by Inco and five of which were joint venture properties. Inco now has a 34.5% interest in Vior.
The two companies recently announced a new $850,000 drilling program on their joint venture Douay gold property in Quebec’s Casa Berardi region.
