A drilling program was recently completed on the Tiblemont property northeast of Val d’Or, Que., Ressources Maufort (ME) reports. Maufort’s project partner is Cameco (TSE).
Five targets were verified and two holes intersected a new gold-bearing zone. One hole cut 0.7 metres of 3.38 grams gold per tonne; the second hole, 55 metres to the north, cut the same zone over 4 metres at an average grade of 5.95 grams.
More drilling is planned in hopes of extending the zone.
