Minnova encounters gold on Diana’s Obatogamau

According to Diana, the zone has been traced 350 m along strike, and to a maximum depth of 135 m. Open to the northeast and at depth, it is possi bly offset by faulting to the southwest.

Assays from channel samples taken from the property inlcude 0.31 oz gold per ton over 2.5 m, and 0.04 oz over 2.3 m.

According to Diana, parallel zones containing lower grades adjoin the zone and the potential exists for extensions of the zone itself.

“About four kilometres of strike length of this favorable trend remain to be tested on the property,” said spokesman Ross Macdonald.

Additional geophysics and diamond drilling are expected to be carried out in the new year.
