Multinational begins Toodoggone work

The company plans to carry out detailed mapping, prospecting, trenching and sampling beyond the main Baker mine area on its 12,000- acre claim holdings in the Toodoggone region of northern British Columbia.

The road-accessed property is situated eight miles from the producing Lawyers gold-silver mine operated by Cheni Gold Mines.

Multinational said its initial program will focus on several areas where previous reconnaissance work had encountered encouraging base and precious metal values.

Follow-up drilling is also planned in order to add to the current B zone drill-indicated reserve of 50,000 tons grading 0.56 oz gold and 5.1 oz silver per ton.

The initial program at the Emigrant Springs project in the Carlin Trend of Nevada includes limited drilling to fill-in a key area within the previously outlined reserve block of 10 million tons grading 0.021 oz gold. Multinational said this reserve is amenable to open pit mining and heap leaching with a low stripping ratio.
