Balance of the property will be owned by Marvic Resources, a private company in which Midrim has a 35% interest, Vital Pacific Resources (VSE) and Davidson Tisdale Mines (TSE).
State records indicate production of copper, gold and silver between 1911 and 1917 from one of six abandoned mines within the claim group, Midrim President E.F. Carr says. The drilling target is covered by about 30 ft of colluvium.
The drilling program will investigate several electromagnetic conductive zones identified by an airborne survey in 1987 and confirmed by ground geophysics, Carr says.
