Athlone drilling Vital Pacific claims

Athlone is testing several gold- bearing skarn zones which are known to exist on the property. One such zone strikes for 1,300 m. A composite chip sample taken across a 50-m section of surface rubble covering the zone, averaged 0.28 oz gold per ton and 0.43% copper.

After completing the 1,200-ft drill program, Athlone will have earned a 51% interest in the claims.
