Tarzan Gold finds two shoots on Joburke

A 13-hole drill program tested for the extension of the 6-7 vein and North vein zones. In the former zone, a shoot was indicated by hole 88-3 which intersected 40.7 ft grading 0.24 oz gold per ton. The down plunge extension was confirmed by hole 88-10 which intersected 18.4 ft grading 0.153 oz gold per ton at a depth of 525 ft. Additional in-fill drilling is being scheduled for the zone.

In the North zone, drilling tested for another shoot, existence of which was suggested by earlier drilling. All four holes completed intersected strong widths of quartz ankerite veins. Assays from three of the holes are pending. Assays from the remaining hole were 0.1 oz gold per ton across 23.8 ft.

The Joburke mine was a former producer which shipped 440,117 tons grading 0.11 oz gold per ton to a mill in Timmins. A shaft was sunk to a depth of 375 ft on the North zone. Tarzan has an option to earn a 50% interest.
