Drill holes have intersected a massive sulphide formation which yielded assays of 33% zinc, 96 g silver, 0.8% copper and 1.32% lead across 5.8 m (19 ft) in hole 17. Another three holes returned sections which assayed from 15% to 50% zinc per ton across 3-5 m (9.8 ft to 16.4 ft).
The discovery zone is near the Grevet B deposit which hosts a small reserve of 476,650 tonnes grading 9.67% zinc, 0.58% copper and 24.1 g silver per tonne. The reserve was calculated by Kilborn Engineering in 1985. VSM is continuing its exploration of the Grevet M find with the objective of defining reserves.
