Queries Lac’s dividend confusing

My question is about LAC Minerals’ dividends. I thought I saw in your paper that LAC paid a 20 dividend in 1987, but I only got 10 per share for the 2,000 shares I own. Where did the other 10 go? Please give me a correct answer and I would be very grateful. J. Wagner Feldbach, Austria .T It’s possible that you are confusing LAC’s dividend with its second quarter per share earnings. The Northern Miner reported recently (N.M., Aug 1/88) that Lac’s second quarter earnings for this year were 20 per share, compared to 18 per share for the year-earlier period.

According to LAC’s annual report, the dividend on common shares of 10 per share, after giving effect to the 3-for-1 stock split in Sept,1987, has remained at the same level since inception. Total dividends paid in 1987 were $8.8 million.
