Paymaster Consolidated is crosscutting through high-grade ore in the new No. 24 vein on the 2,075-ft. level at the No. 3 winze, The Northern Miner can announce. At presstime, the west wall of the crosscut had exposed 56 inches of vein material averaging 6.4 oz per ton. In the east wall a vein width of 72 inches assaying 0.99 oz was evident. Ore was continuing in the face of the crosscut. A drill hole intersected this vein close to the crosscut exposure and showed a total width of 98 inches averaging $14.
