Augdome Corp made a slight advance to 28 cents -33 cents . The company, which holds a large land position southeast of the big Dome mine near Timmins, Ont., has received an offer from Diepdaume Mines to mine a small surface deposit on its property. Diepdaume has a mill nearby. Also, Augdome has picked up additional ground in the area from Falconbridge Ltd.

After a week of quick gains and good volume, the pace has settled down for Western International Explorations. The company hopes to bring a gold placer property in Colombia, South America, to production this year. The issue backed off to 80 cents -$1 after trading as high as $1.20.

Mirado Nickel Mines was also easier at 38 cents -43 cents . The company holds a royalty of the Mirado gold mine, now in operation near Kirkland Lake, Ont. Paul Penna’s Probe Mines remained a volume leader but failed to edge above 53 cents -58 cents . The company has a 5% net smelter royalty on Goldex Mines gold property in Quebec. Goldex hopes to start shipping ore to the nearby Dumagami mill in 1988.

Other better issues included Matt Berry Mines at 48 cents -53 cents and Craibbe- Fletcher Gold Mines at 55 cents -60 cents .
