Nor-Quest eyes Costa Rican gold

An agreement to explore and purchase a mining concession 8 sq km in size in the Juntas area of Costa Rica has been entered into by Nor-Quest Resources.

Under the direction of Tim Coates, the company’s consulting geologist, underground sampling has identified a mineralized area with a minimum width of 180 ft and an average grade of 0.11 oz gold per ton.

An initial diamond drilling program to test an area 180 ft wide by 750 ft long by 150 ft deep has been recommended. The initial program is designed to prove 2 million tons of open pit reserves.

Nor-Quest has the right to purchase a 100% interest in the property during the next 12 months for $1 million(US).
