Lenora planning underground work

An underground exploration program is being planned by Lenora Explorations for the company’s Golden Harker property near Kirkland Lake, Ont. The program will enable sampling and testing of reserves totalling 186,000 tons grading 0.16 oz gold per ton.

More encouraging drill holes are also coming from affiliate company Mary Ellen Resources’ Nicholson Bay property. Located near Beaverlodge, Sask., the property is held under option from Saskatchewan Mining Development Corp. Of six short reconnaissance holes completed, one hole cut 22.5 ft grading 0.475 oz gold, 0.053 oz platinum and 0.188 oz palladium per ton. Included in the section was a higher grading 2.5-ft section which assayed 3.2 oz gold, 0.44 oz platinum and 1.59 oz palladium.
