Production decision at Farley in ’88

A production decision for the Farley Lake gold deposit is scheduled to be made in 1988, partners Farley Gold and Manitoba Mineral Resources say. Located 25 miles east of Lynn Lake, Man., the deposit hosts geological reserves of 1.58 million tons grading 0.185 oz gold per ton. This includes proven reserves of 538,000 tons grading 0.212 oz. The new reserve figure is more than double the 700,000 tons grading 0.2 oz, reported last year.

Farley is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Inspiration Resources Corp. Manitoba Mineral Resources is a provincial crown corporation. The partners hold a 44.8% and 55.2% interest in the project respectively.
