With 300 men now engaged, and 50 or 60 more to be added, the Sherritt Gordon mine again becomes an important factor in the mining industry of the country. This property, out of production for five years, should return to copper making within a few days. It is now awaiting the turning on of an electric power supply from Hudson Bay Mining and Smelting Co. Many of the men are former employees, returned to Sherridon for their old jobs.
