Winteroad plan

A new drilling program is scheduled by Winteroad Resources on its Garrison Twp., Ont., property to test the down-dip extension and to extend the strike length of the gold- bearing zone identified by the 1986 drilling program.

The zone, the company reports, has a strike length of 460 ft. Gold intersections obtained during the 1986 program include 0.5 oz (cut) per ton, 0.37 oz, 0.31 oz and 0.25 oz.

The company has entered into a private placement of flow-through shares, the proceeds of the issue to be spent on exploration.
