Recently listed for trading on the Montreal Exchange was American Reserve Mining (symbol AMI), a company incorporated in 1980 in British Columbia under a different name. The current name came into being in 1987.
In November, 1987, American Reserve entered into an agreement with Associated Porcupine Mines (TSE) whereby it may earn up to a 50% interest in the Paymaster gold mine project located near Timmins, Ont. The two companies plan to explore for gold reserves below 6,000 ft at the Paymaster property.
