Eider decision

Disappointed by the results of a bulk sample taken from the Lake Rose property located east of Val d’Or, Que., Eider Resources (me) says it has no plans to spend more money on the property in the near future.

The bulk sample consisted of more than 6,000 tons of ore treated partly at the Yvan Vezina mill at Destor and also at the Camchib mill at Chibougamau. The company reports it has spent more than $1.5 million on the property.

The bulk sample produced 449 oz gold, netting the company $261,000. Average recovery grade was 0.08 oz gold per ton. The company had earlier estimated recovery of 1,500 oz from a 7,700-ton bulk sample averaging 0.22 oz.
