Troymin reports property results (May 09, 1988)

Reporting encouraging drilling results from properties in Saskatchewan and Manitoba is Troymin Resources (ASE).

At La Ronge, where Saskatchewan Mining Development is the operator, 13 holes representing 3,225 ft were drilled on the Berven Lake gold property during the winter program. Among the better results:

Width Grade

(ft) (oz/t) BR8-5 3.3 0.91 BR8-6 1.6 0.23 BR8-7 1.6 0.95

5 0.17

Troymin reports a summer exploration program is planned for Berven Lake and Seversen Lake at La Ronge. Also, an airborne geophysical program is under way at the recently acquired Kempton Lake property.

At the Balsam polymetallic property in the Flin Flon area of Manitoba, where Granges Exploration (TSE) is the operator, 11 holes representing 3,313 ft were drilled. Also, nine holes were drilled to test anomalies in the Wolf Lake and McDermott Lake areas, but no economic mineralization was encountered.

Troymin says two holes were drilled to further evaluate the Balsam zone. Hole BAL 50 intersected 9.3 ft of 4.69% zinc, 0.21% copper, 0.02 oz gold per ton and 0.6 oz silver. No further exploration activity for the property is planned at this time.
