Parquet seeking project partner

Joint venture proposals are being reviewed by Parquet Resources (TSE) for exploration work at its Courville Twp. gold property near Val d’Or, Que.

President William Plexman says funds are being sought for a wide- scale work program including drilling to extend the A and B zones, testing several anomalies and other zones, bulldozing over the main A zone and rock blasting preparation for bulk sampling.

During the company’s 1987-88 exploration season, 18 holes totalling 12,800 ft were drilled. Among the results were 22.5 ft of 0.13 oz gold per ton from hole PC-78 and 32 ft of 0.31 oz from hole PC-93.

During March and April, the company drilled an additional 15 short holes totalling 6,411 ft. Among the better results: Hole Width Grade
