COATS Trading Features (July 04, 1988)

South American Goldfields was busy at 95 cents on news that Denison Mines plans to form a joint venture with the company to explore four concessions in Guyana for gold. Denison can earn a 60% interest by spending $1.25 million(US) on exploration.

Midrim Mining Co. saw more than 55,000 shares trade hands this week. The issue remained steady at 15 cents -19 cents . Midrim’s main asset is a 45% interest in Marvic Resources, a private company. Marvic holds several properties in Montana which are being explored for gold by other partners.

The volume leader was Corona Corp. which traded more than 100,000 shares to a high of $13.25. Corona was created from the amalgamation of companies controlled by Royex Gold Mining.
