Messeguay Mines pulls another good section

A 50-ft-long section grading 0.12 oz gold per ton was intersected on the Launay/Privat property located about 30 miles northeast of Rouyn- Noranda, Que., Messeguay Mines reports.

The section was part of the core cut by hole ML-87-89. The company recently reported hole ML-87-75 intersecting a 64-ft section yielding 0.13 oz. The two holes were drilled in the same area of the property: hole ML-87-89 cut the mineralized zone between 125 ft and 155 ft (vertical), while the other intersection was between 172 ft and 217 ft.

The current drilling progran is aimed at investigating a large, well- fractured and altered zone containing quantities of pyrite, the company says. The mineralized zone, situated in intrusive felsic rock, is rich in pyrite (4-6%) and characterized by a potassium enrichment.
